Ancient stepwell, Varanasi, India

Lolark Kund, an ancient stepwell in the city not far from Tulsi Ghat and the sacred river Ganga. The stepwell is dedicated to the sun god Surya and at least 900 years old in its present form, with foundations probably dating back much further.
