A view up the central tower showing the decoration with shards and pieces of Chinese porcelain tiles, that were imported as ballast in trade ships during the time when many Chinese began to settle in Siam. The temple underwent major restoration and cleaning work over several years after this shot here from 2012 and the colours now look quite different.
