Description

The view from the Hall of Dancers towards the inner sanctuary. The roof has long disappeared, now only the stone walls remain, richly decorated with many dancing apsaras on the pillars and above exits. Preah Khan was a large temple city, with a Buddhist university and almost 100,000 officials and servants, including 1,000 dancers and 1,000 teachers supporting the organisation.
