Devatas, Preah Khan, Angkor Cambodia

Carvings of devatas inside the inner sanctuary of the ancient temple city Preah Khan. The roof has long disappeared, now only the stone walls remain, richly decorated with devatas and dancing apsaras. The enigmatic beauty of the carvings is tangible even now, many centuries after the city was reclaimed and overgrown by the jungle. (max A3 recommended)
