In Kumartuli, the traditional potter's quarter, where colourful idols of deities are made from clay and plaster. Here on the last days before Durga Puja, the biggest festival in Kolkata, a Ganesha idol is transported out of the narrow alleys of Kumartuli for distribution to temples or stages throughout Kolkata and nearby provinces.
