Mekong dry

Along the once mighty Mekong river in Ubon Ratchathani on the border between Thailand and Laos. Seasonal variations in water levels are normal on the Mekong, but in recent years the flooding periods have become less frequent and water levels lower due to several dams that were built upstream.
