Traditional wooden longtail boat resting on the shore on fine white shell and sand beach on an island in the Phi Phi archipelago in Krabi province, Thailand. The boat with its protruding tail casts an interesting shadow on the beach that reflects and accentuates the typical unique shape of these style boats. The boat is decorated with colourful cloth and Thai national and royal flags flying in the sea breeze. Gentle waves from the turquoise Andaman Sea lick the shore. Coral and rocks are visible under the surface of the water towards the back, with another longtail boat on the sea visible in the distance. The sky is deep blue with white clouds in an almost linear arrangement, that emphasise the perspective of the boat seen from the front towards the horizon and help to make the scene dynamic with wind and sea breeze almost feeling tangible. In the distance on the horizon are islands and mountains just visible under tropical late afternoon monsoon clouds.
